What is identity? The definition of identity is the fact of who or what a person or thing is. Who are you and by what principles do you live by and are they sound? Today I will share tips to identify if You are having a identity crisis and tips to establish a sound identity. These tips that I apply to my own life and they are helping me establish stability.
4 questions to ask yourself to identify that there is a Identity crisis
1. Is your mood often determined by your environment or people around you? (example: when someone makes you angry it ruins your whole day often)
2. As a Christian are your principles that you live by built on the principles established in the word of God. (example: Do you refer to God's word as your guide or mirror for your actions and emotions)
3. Do you have a established set of principles for your life or do you just adjust according to the situation?
4 Tips to work towards a sound identity
1. Study the word of God to find out what He says about you. Have a clear understanding that we are made in God's image and his word is our principles to live by. Use the word to establish Identity
2. Prayer: Communicate with God, He made you so He has the blueprint to heal and restore you with the assistance of the Holy Spirit.
3.Establish affirmations that reflect what God's word says about you and quote them daily.
4. Establish God's word as your principles for living (Read Psalms 1:2;3 Here) and let this be your
reference point to establish your lifestyle.
