It's my birthday so each year I reflect on things I've learned and challenges I've had, to focus on making better decisions and growing. These 5 things I'm sharing today are just five of my top reflections. I hope they inspire You to reflect and grow.
It's my birthday so each year I reflect on things I've learned and challenges I've had, to focus on making better decisions and growing. These 5 things I'm sharing today are just five of my top reflections. I hope they inspire You to reflect and grow.
1. Self-Love is so important to every relationship I have and every aspect of my life. I have established that loving and taking care of myself properly makes me a better person for those in my life, and makes me more aware of their needs and more available to love them properly. 2. Setting priorities are so important, it's a way of loving myself and those in my life. Having proper priorities makes me less anxious and more balanced. By establishing proper priorities, I now know where to give my energy and time. By setting priorities it is so much easier to make decisions.
3. Less of my energy goes into what people think of me and I am now able to use that energy to better myself. It's amazing when you let go of toxic emotions and behaviors, you then make room for positive reinforcement and growth. When I took my eyes off of what people thought it destroyed that box that I lived in for a long time and destroyed the "they said" rule and traded that for life on my terms. I think this will be a ongoing process.
5. Last but certainly not least, I am not responsible for another's actions and learning to decipher what help to give someone. Knowing the difference between helping and enabling and oooooweeee this has been a challenging lesson to learn. In the end not carrying someone else's issues as your own. Learning when to pray and when to act has been crucial to this process.
Turning 41 is a beautiful thing, I don't regret growing older and I don't regret any life lessons because they have only made me stronger and wiser. Learning to love me properly has been a blessing and I would not trade anything in my life it has truly changed Trenara the girl into Trenara the woman I see in the mirror today and I like and love Her.
