Things I use in yoga and why
- Yoga mat - For traction and padding (indoors and outdoors)
- Oil burner with tea tree oil - For calming and relaxing (indoors)
- Phone - For calming sounds, music and meditation scriptures (indoors and outdoors)
- Pillow or folded blanket - For leverage or padding (indoors and outdoors)
My current yoga routine
- I do 3 -10 poses, 1 minute each, based on my areas I am working on that day according to my goals for the month. Here are some pose variations HERE
- This month my fitness goal is posture, core strength and flexibility.
- My goal mentally is concentrating and breathing.
- I play either calming sounds/music or meditate on monthly goal scriptures.
- I do yoga 3-5 days a week.
Why I love yoga and how it has enhanced my healthy lifestyle
- I love the way yoga makes me feel physically, mentally and spiritually.
- It has been great for managing stress, anxiety and mental health.
